Free buildings

Hi. Found this link on The Miniature Pages (TMP - [TMP] The Miniatures Page) for a website by a guy called Tony.

He has changed all his models to free ones. They are fairly basic in design but still effective and may be of interest. They could of course be titivated....(improved).

Wow ... a virtual goldmine for 00 train layouts, or even just buildings for a diorama setting for your favourite models ... and all for FREE.

An outstanding find there Sporticus. Book marked and exploring.
The Falklands buildings sure brought back some memories. I guess Tony was there too.

Maybe a diorama set with a subtle Vulcan shaped shadow ...

Must have had some traffic, as the models are no longer free. Shame, as I wanted the Falklands ones.

??? Just checked and still show as free. Donations welcome it says but still says free.

I found some are free on his site, but only a few. I really wanted the "Rovers Return" but that's not free either, or there's a snag on his site. I did read that the models on his site are no-longer free, then a small box stating they are free, a tad confusing. I managed to get the Terraced houses though

Sounds confusing. The guy said that he used to charge for the buildings but because he had been ill he wasn't able to maintain the site so was going to keep the site up but make them all free.
If maybe he hasn't adjusted the site correctly. Probably worth an email to him about the ones you are having problems with.

He's now removed the references to anything being free. There's no ordering page, and no details of model pricing. Shambles of a website really, not someone I would trust with payment/account details.

TMP is not always the best place for resources, but they do have some decent paper model references. i quit that site because it is run poorly and has ended up being a circus.
