Unbelievable trucks!

That, believe it or not, is a model scratch-built essentially from paper. I have recently begun corresponding with the builder, Peter Janokvic, whose website is at Home - Special Transport Models. See the build thread of the above model at the Slovakian paper modellers forum . There's also a download section. Use google to translate the main page and you'll see it towards the bottom.

What wonderful modellers the Eastern Europeans are! Makes me feel really rubbish!

Thanks for the lin Cut 'n' paste, there's loads of other fun stuff at the download section too. Tools, railway related material even recyckling bins. And a great model of a WW2 Bailey bridge.

That's a model all right, on top of a high-rise building (based on the waterproofing, those strips are - I think - about 1 meter wide)

That young fellow is a pretty amazing modeler. I love his trailers, too.

Thanks for that forum link, C&P. I haven't found a truck there yet, but there's a bunch of interesting lighthouse models listed, among other things. This may take some time to investigate.
