Big, Big, Big Veyron !

Just saw this on the Pepkura gallery, but don't get all upset non-pdo users, it all in PDF! According to the designer's description:

"A 2.5ft long papercraft replica of one of the world's fastest and most expensive super-cars, the Bugatti Veyron, consisting of 159 parts on 44 pages. I specifically designed this papercraft with detailed templates and instructions for any hobbyist to easily enjoy."

Check out the time-lapse introduction at the bottom of the page, really cool!

What a phenomenal model! It's gorgeous, just as it is, yet offers unprecedented opportunities for transparent windows and custom interiors -- that is, for modellers with more skill and information resources than I have. And its sheer size might require an entire ink cartridge, so I shall not try even the "simple" version anytime soon.

I doubt I would ever build it ... storage ... but that is really sweet

Oh, heck, only 44 pages? I think I'll do this one to display at the office supply store where I work. The owner loves that I can make entire models out of stuff from her store.

Wonder how that would shrink to 25/24th scale? Still suprised nobody has done a commercial kit of the car. VW must want some hugh license fee for it.
