Hehehe, it was a tad funny. I received a mesh similar to the one used for the movie to work from. Thing was so detailed my 6 year-old pc couldn't handle it. simply rotating the wireframe view (no textures displayed etc) took nearly two seconds to refresh!

The first Noisy Boy prototype was still too complex. I had the calves on the legs separate, much more knee and elbow detail and the shoulders had complete inner workings modeled. Pics of it is on my deviant page if anyone is interested.

I'm kinda sorry they didn't ask for Atom, but it's a few months intense work and with so many other designs in my to-do list, I won't be getting to it anytime soon. :(

Thunderchild,
I did not realize that you were the designer of the Noisy Boy model. Wow, that is sure one beautiful design! Tricky matching up all of the texture graphics I bet (It is for me anyway).

Thanks for a wonderful design!

Your friend,

Your friend,
More than welcome my friend! It was a challenging project but I learned a lot. I'm with you on the textures. With my Mass Effect models I decided to use the textures from the game, and it's a real pain getting the textures to fit. Usually, as with Noisy Boy, I do the textures myself from scratch, and it simplifies things a lot, still tricky though, especially when dealing with complex shapes!
