Found this by accident the other night:

Retouching/customizing our BSG models just became that much easier...

The lettering used in the new series is a commercial font after all, as explained on the page linked to above. As stated at the bottom of the page, the font is available for download by liking galactiguise.com on Facebook.

Always fascinated by how "they" do things with models and props in TV shows and movies, so this site was a real joy!

Mac users: I had problems trying to download the font using Safari. Firefox downloaded it just fine, however.
