For You Naval Fans

While looking for something totally unrelated, I came across this site.

Lou Coatney's Military and Naval History Games, Writings, and Models

While digging around the site, I noticed some Office of Naval Intelligence drawings of ships from WWII and found three or four kits for ships.

The models are a bit buried and I don't remember how I got to where the ship models are located, but they are there...somewhere.

Thanks for posting this, there are ship models on there, and I am going to have to read through his paper on the Katyn Forrest Massacre, there in a pinheaded cretin on a social site I visit that continually tries to defend Stalin and what he did to the Poles, claims they victims were of Germanic origin and thoerefor this atrocity was justified. he dosen't know I'm Polish on my mother's side!!!!!

FYI - Lou Coatney is a member here. There is an active thread discussing his Samuel B Roberts model being built in larger scale here. He has also frequently posted his new models and build discussions along the way.

Enjoy!

He is also working on self-publishing a book (I believe) of many of his other wargame models, cruisers, destroyers, etc. Here is a full discussion of a number of his models, with discussion of his upcoming work at the end.

My simple cardstock model ship designs.

I hope that link goes through right. I for one am really looking forward to it.
