Use Robert's instructions for the cameras. They work!
Thanks Robert.

After opening the page in the "Wayback Machine" you may have to sort
through different Days. it may not be on the first one that pops up. I found one that way, but the other 2I had to go back to the First day of Crawl by the Wayback, or another. Look for the graph in the timeline. If you see black bars, then something Is available there. Click on one of the days that is highlighted with a blue disk.

I've looked all over but can't find them. (Annoying since I own the 5D MkII and 24-105).
Would it be much trouble for you to email them to me? |

Card lens patterns ?
Hello everyone...
I have been making paper and card models for 45 years, though I rarely post here. After downloading the files for the three camera body models as detailed in previous posts... (thankyou for your excellent instructions regarding the 'Wayback Machine' website, Robert ) ...I wondered if anyone has any idea where I might find files to make card models of lenses that would compliment the camera bodies ? When I began taking pictures at art college (35 years ago) - I used an AE-1 film camera. The perfect tool for photography students, and 'high-tech' at the time - AE = automatic exposure In particular - I would like to make a card model of one of those - with a lens to suit. fenton - I see that your list (in post #26) includes 'EF24' and 'EF300' and suspect those are models of lenses. I have lots of Canon photography 'stuff' - including EF lenses. Does anyone know if there were ever patterns provided for a card FD lens - to go with the card AE-1 camera body ? I have tried Google - and all I get are links to adverts for 'real' lenses - and I have those... The images on various web pages show an FD lens 'attached' to the model of the AE-1 body. That model lens has a silver-coloured retaining collar, making the model representative of a very early camera/lens combination. Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered... Keven. |
