Texaco Vintage Service Station Paper Model In 1/25 Scale
Here is the Texaco Vintage Service Station Paper Model In 1/25 scale, ready to download! The model occupies four sheets of paper and another sheet for the base, which is optional. I plan to start assembling it today, so I think tomorrow I will post some pictures of the progress. Enjoy! In this case, vintage supposed to be: old or outmoded. About the "banjo" sign, feel free to add it if you want. Greetings from Brazil! Mauther |

the primary signage is from around 1913, while the pumps (i've never seen one that style with a "globe" on top) date from 1962 at the earliest. Texaco would never allow that, at least not in the states.

This is not a historical model. It is a model made by an amateur. This model was created to my fun, as a hobby and to be easy and fun to build. Doing extensive research would take half the fun of creating it. It's hard for me to create rounded shapes in MSPaint, then my models are made always the easiest. For accurate models, I advise buying models by big publishers. I, as the creator of the model, reserve the right to make the way my imagination wants. This is a free model , so take it or leave it. Abou t the pumps, feel free to create them, along with "Banjo sign". Thanks anyway for your research and very important informations... Sorry for the bad English...I try not use translators...I think it's better, write wrong and be understood than to be misunderstood in an automatic translation. Greetings from Brazil! Mauther |

Here some photos of the assembly of the model:
In this post you see the walls of the garage and the assembly of the doors and windows. For this model I used 180 grams cardboard sheets and with cardboard packaging boxes, I reinforced the inside walls. More soon... |

Very nice. The scale is much larger than my vehicles. Would this still be buildable at a reduced scale?
