I don't think the Hubert Siegmund Thunderbird was there last time I went there. For the nursinghome christmas village, I got the two downloads of his village pieces there to go with his other village at the Fix and Foxi site.
Gotta go download the Tbird. Thanks

Membership is especially interesting for serious collectors and other people who are interested in the history of card modelling. Their site is bilingual, German / English. |

Thank you for the update and correction. When I first encountered the site, I did not see to find the English language version. (Somehow I missed the click on flag in the corner of the web page.) I did find the page given below which lists their publications dealing with the history of card modelling which are for sale, and appear to be very reasonably priced. Sample PDF pages can be downloaded, and the ambitious non German speaker could run the PDF through an OCR program and then a translator program to get an idea of what the articles are about. For the vintage paper model admirer, this site is a tremendous resource. http://www.kartonmodellbau.org/publi...hefte.shtml.de Thanks again for providing more information about this resource. |
