(asking for help) De Zeven Provinciën Class paper model
Dear friends,
I recently found there has been a release of De Zeven Provinciën Class paper model few years before at armada model web site. However now the sharing is stopped. I did tried wayback machine and only can find the instruction, but not the paper model. Does anyone mind share the model to me ? I promise I will use it personally myself, and will not use it for any commercial purpose. If you prefer, I can keep it in my hard drive and not share again. Sorry to border you and thanks for providing this forum for me, a paper model lover. Wish you all have a happy valentines day aaronlam |

Have you tried asking Armada themselves for the plan of the model? Many have reservation in sharing free models on copyright reasons.

Hi guys and especially aaronlam, I have emailed armadamodels and here is his answer
"Many thanks for your email. Please feel free to distribute the model as you wish and when you do I’d appreciate it if you could point out that the instructions will be in greater depth on the final version (available on the ArmadaModels website once I’m happy with everything). Please let everyone know that I welcome all comments regarding the model and that comments can be made via the ContactUs page on our website. The model has been sized to fit neatly on A4 card and hence the scale is approximately 1/470. Of course, when printing, the ‘custom scale’ setting could be used to make the model smaller (or larger if using an A3 printer). Adjustment would have to be made to the thickness of laminated components - i.e. the number of laminations - when printing out at different scales. Best regards, Rob" So, I must thank Rob for his generosity and we should take action to build the model to appreciate our thanks to him. I am very happy about the result, how about you? Papermate P.S. had problem uploading the pdf file which is 842 KB large, so is there anyway to get around this problem of 200KB limit? How can I send the file to the Downloads section, please? |

Okay, I'll break it up into 5 jpg files and see if I could upload them here one by one. Here you go. And see how you'll play magic with them.

aaronlam, will do but mind you, as the administrator would advise (warn) you, don't go public with your email address on the forum. Should send a pm instead.
Jos, there shouldn't be any problem downloading the jpg files from my post. I've tried to see if it works, and it does. Details - first click on the thumbnail to open it and then double-click again to get the enlarged view. Right click to show a "save as" command and then save it to the specific file on your hard disk. This is what I know. Please see if it helps. And both gentlemen, would you build the ship and give us and Rob a feedback by way of posting on this forum? Papermate |
