Not to be a pain but...
A number of these are from the "Build Your Own Chicago". That's only about 14 or so years old. Aren't they copyrighted?

You're probably right there Jagolden, but there are some very interesting models listed there. Some very collectible buildings, some quite complex, and if you're looking for toys to get your young chavvies interested in papercraft, there's plenty of really simple stuff in there. I was even tempted to DL quite a few as I flipped through all 200+ of them, and I've bookmarked the site for further reference. Most of the kids in my family are getting on a bit now, but I guess it won't be too long now before I become a Great-Granddad.

Johnny.

Yes Joe, you are on point...not a pain. There were even some noted as being published in 2012....of course available hardcopy from various souvenir shops. To me, it does not appear that the owner of that gallery even has permission to share those postcard models.

Some of those kits/postcards are...but many of the others were not....or appear to not be.

Link to Build your own Chicago with a section with some free models....but not all of them. There are some you have to buy.

I don't think it was malicious. He was just showing off his collection, but just because he wasn't malicious, doesn't mean that it isn't wrong.
