Laser Cut Parts

Check out the laser cut parts from this site. They also have a Clarkton Aircraft Tug free download. I believe they will also cut parts to order. You supply the vector file, they'll cut it.

I can't confirm weather it's true or not, but I remember reading not too long ago here in the forum, that AvantCard is no longer in business.

If it's true, that's really a shame.

How about a Silhoutte Cameo, I'm really thinking about getting one. Does anybody know if you can also score parts with it? That would be awesome...

That really is too bad if Bruce and his wife weren't able to sustain the business. They made some really cool accessories for the modeling community.

I emailed AvantCard a couple of months ago and I was told they were no longer selling the railings I was looking for. I asked if he was willing to sell me the design and I would try to find someone else to cut it, but I didn't get a response.

It's a shame, the railings were very nice!

Yeah it's a real shame about Bruce no longer supplying his awesome products. I was hoping to buy from him last year and he informed me he was no longer in business. I've found a supplier for nuts, bolts and rivets (www.drafmodel.pl) but am yet to come across anyone who does anything like his metal meshes or diamond plate embossed card. :(

Hi Peereboom2.
Yes, you can score with the Silhouette Cameo. You make a pattern as you do for the cutting blade, but replace the blade with your scorer, which is typically a dead ball point pen in a specialised holder, available from the Silhouette spares site at the bottom of the page on this link.

Yes it is, but good luck trying to make a purchase... Bruce may have some excess stock, or there may be another reason why the site is still running but I'd recommend emailing him before placing an order.
