kaleidocycles and mc escher links

To find interesting images and links to 3D object that flops into different states search " kaleidocycle " with Google Web and Google images. They are also known as "flexagons".

Links to lessons about geometry and 3D objects and a few paper objects origami and polyhedra here:

Those kaleidocycles are fun to play with. I made some a few years ago that got worn out quick. It is fascinating to manipulate and watch them change shape.

Thanks John.

And for anyone interested there is a superb book about cycles...

Escher, Godel, Bach. By Hofstader. Published by Penguin.

Cannot recommend this book enough!
