kaleidocycles and mc escher links
To find interesting images and links to 3D object that flops into different states search " kaleidocycle " with Google Web and Google images. They are also known as "flexagons".

Those kaleidocycles are fun to play with. I made some a few years ago that got worn out quick. It is fascinating to manipulate and watch them change shape.
