There is a kit of the Arkansas being designed and it should be availble soon. I can't say more at the moment.
There is a nice kit of the H. L. Hunley available here: H.L. Hunley - Renova Model
There is also a smaller one here: 1/48 CSS Hunley 1864 Paper Model

WOW!!

PLEASE let me know when she is ready to launch as I want her ASAP!

Here is a photo like of the flag that flow above the C.S. Steam Ram Arkansas:
http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.ne...x?mediaID=9587

Her flag was a little different from the standard CS naval ensign of the period.

Hope this helps!

Ok. OK. Thanks for the detail. I think that this boat had two flags in bow and stern right? Can you tell me the other flag...?

How come it is in 1:200 whereas most (not all) available Civil War prototypes are modeled in 1:250? Particularly those other prototypes that would have interacted with the Arkansas. Sure, I can redo the layout and printing, but that amount of extra work puts the model on my back burner.

You print a 1:200 scale model at 80% to get a 1:250 scale model. No extra layout and it would fit on the page. The reduction should not impact the quality very much.
