Just got an email linking to this:

I have been looking at similar machines for a while. exact same item available on ebay for $120 and above. built my own while I contemplate if forking over the dough is worth it

for such a small size and depth of the positives,
I really would recommend an ace hardware heat gun,
picnic plastic plates,
dense rubber foam
and plumbers epoxy
to make small positives, and just push mold your parts by heating up the plates and jamming in the positive against the furniture foam.

This is the way I do it now, learned this method from PM member John Hall and it does work, but am always interested in new ways of doing stuff.

Just curious,

There are tons of how to make vacuform machines on instructable.com
Most are simple and inexpensive to build.
