Oh, I started scrappin' in Aden, way back in '62. but if any of you Kiwis remember meeting me in 'Nam ... It wasn't me right! We wasn't there. Not never, not nohow. My boss told us we weren't there, and he wouldn't lie would he? Musta been that time we had to fall out the Bev' to lighten it, 'cos it didn't have enough fuel to get to Gan. "Well, while you're there boys ..." It took 'em six weeks to lift us out again. That was my first ride in a Herkybird too. Thank'ee Yankee. Did they take us home ? Nah, best they could offer was Belize.

I was 7 years old in 62 but had been on bases since birth.Dad was in the bootnecks and after serving on hms glory spent all his time in singapore mainly cos of malayan emergency.i spent time in rnzaf but ironically the only time i saw what i would consider real action was as a civilian aboard the great white whale during the falklands in 82.time in bomb alley was close enough for me thanks.the yanks refered to the freighter as 42,000 rivets flying in close formation

An' I'll give it a bump too ... not for the A400 though. I'm still hoping Bruno might do a 1:300 Bristol Freighter.
