This model and the ones by Necroscope are so far beyond my capabilities that I just want to quit my feeble attempts at building models and find a new hobby. I am such an amateur!!!

My own thoughts on this model...the builder is so far out on the leading edge of the hobby with respect to design and structural engineering that he us just about without equal. I'm personally thankful that his building skills are not at the same level as his design ability...it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that, if given a set of parts and instructions, a mere mortal such as myself might be able to do as well, and there is no reason for me to give my stash and tools to the most likely grandkid and take up punch embroidery as my main time waster.

On CNN now
He just made it on CNN
A nice interview and pictures. He spent 10,000 hours so far and he still needs to build the wings. So if he got paid close to minimum wage ( in the USA ) of $7.25, that is $72,500. It will be over $100k when done Here it is: Possibly the world's most impressive paper plane - CNN.com Isaac
