Retro Style Television Paper Model
When I was a kid in the 1970s, there were no video games, cell phones, internet, cable television and even the remote control, the microwave oven and the video-cassette were objects of desire unattainable for ordinary people, at least here in Brazil. The school works were made by consulting books in the library and schools sang the national anthem and swore to flag every day. Electronic games, only in Arcades. Taito and Konami ruled. Pinball machines left fingers smelling of cigarette. Here in Brazil Mad Magazine was read hidden from parents, the thought indecent and Playboy was sold with a black plastic covering the cover. Who led a Playboy to school was considered "the man". This type of television marked a good part of my childhood and this paper model is a way to rediscover some of that time where things were more simple ... @Mauther:
Thank you very kindly for yet another beautiful FREE model, but thank you also for the text, which really brought back lots of memories, most fond, some not so fond ...! Oh, and while I'm at it, I'd also like to thank you ever so much for your beautiful website, which I can't recommend enough, and all the work you're putting into it every day! I'm really very much obliged! - Tex |
