Download everything on his site? Absolutely. Plenty to be learned from just reading the little plates on the aircraft models. I didn't know El Duce's brother was an aviator. A pioneering aviator at that. And all of the WWI German aircraft done in Herman Goering's liveries. A hero in his own country is oft times despised across the border. Salute'.

I think his knowledge of history is as much a reason for my admiration as is his varied interests, humor and design skills. Gonna miss him

Well, this is a SHOCK, and his webpage is indeed 404 now. :-(

I msged him a year or so ago, and asked him to stay in good health. He seemed so full of life. By the way, he was the one who did the 1:1200 Grifo lead models of WW2 Italian warships.

I downloaded Zara and Alfieri, but didn't get the torpedo boat.

TERRIBLE loss to the hobby and to his memory.

He had a beautiful (presumably Italian) wife. Someone should ask her for permission to post his files ... maybe here.

All that beautiful work ... lost. This is what happens on Internet.

I have to renew my webpage every year, and we are all mortal.

Not all of Zio Prudenzio's models were saved to the internet archive.
Some of the models from his old web site are still accessible.
It would be a big favor if some one could go through all of the search results for

https://www.google.com/search?q=http...utf-8&oe=utf-8

and paste the still active URLs into the wayback machine:

Internet Archive: Wayback Machine

(go about 1/3 down the page and past the URL into the "save" window and hit the button.)
