Actually I am very surprised we haven't seen more Football related models.
I personally don't have an interest, but its obviously an important topic right now.

With that pattern (above) you could come up with all kinds of designs.
How about a little challenge for you Footie fans?

But here's a fun fact:
In China, American Football is called Olive-Ball (橄榄球). No Joke.

Thing is... the game is played "on your feet"
it does involve a small amount of kicking a ball
and it sure does involve running and chasing.
...so, okay...in that sense, it is "football".

But real Football already existed when American "football" was invented
and is literally about your Foot connecting with a Ball.
Its not about running and tackling and yards and "refrigerators" and fruit bowls.

So, why some guy decided to use the same name for the American game makes no sense,
but it has been allowed to stay for so long, its completely impossible to change it now.

They should really call it "Wrastlin' Ball".

Its basically a strange clone of Rugby...with a lot of padding added,
and a lot more time-out. I mean a helluva lot of time-out!
Why they didn't call it something similar to Rugby is odd.

They should really call it "stand-around-and-wait-ball"
Seriously...a game takes 3, maybe 4 hours...and theres only three and half minutes of actual play!


The real problem is Americans who do not recognize that another sport is also called Football
and has been called "Football" for much longer.
That's just ignorance.

I don't personally watch Football...either of them.
Theres no motor...so its not really a sport.

But...any excuse to make a paper model right?
