Ah, brings back memories . . . I used to drive a garbage truck now and then. This may or may not seem unlikely to those who know me.

these guys put out a 1:300 model train layout a while ago. I think it actually was a lot more than just a train layout: the train layout was 1/4 of a 4 part town diorama. Does anybody know any details about it/where to get it?

Jon,

You are thinking of the Minibox published 1:300 towns, I can get you a link of a reseller who has the kits in stock tonight.

I have these kits, and they are impressive kits, and they even have directions to make the mountain and the river you see in some of the finished model shots

Rick

Jon,

sorry for the delay, life took over

Marcle Models in the UK has all of the 1:300 town diorama kits from Weiner Minibox
it is not listed in his catalog, but I think you can email him and ask about it

There is a Czech vendor who has the kits, and that site I need to pull from my bookmarks at home.

there are 4 sets
Podskali
Zakouti
and the Skalka and Petrovice rail stations

Has anyone seen any 1930's truck models? So far the oldest one I've found is the truck from Duel. I'm working on a diorama and could use any trucks or cars from the 1930s.
Thanks
Clif
