Great work. I like your designs. Just built the Yak-19 , 25 and 30 and 1000 models. Nice layout.

However, the printed versions I purchased from YG company all have crisp red stars, and your download files have a fuzzy / worn stars. Why is that?

Congratulations on another great model.

Thanks

Isaac

I don't know why there's such a difference ) YG prints and refines models without me, so I don't know why its parts are brighter )

Maxim

I want to show you that the files you provided for the Yak 19, Yak 25, Yak 30 and Yak 1000 all have the Soviet red stars as well as the numbers look faded or worn out. Where as the YG versions have the red stars nice and bright.

Your pdf file build ( notice the faded stars and numbers )

and the YG version ( clean looking star )

and a comparison of the stars

So I do not know if your graphics are intentional or something went wrong when you created the .pdf file.

This is just for your information.

I really do like your models alot.

Understand Yes, some of my models have been redrawn by the YG, but i don't know how and how match I don't like "clear", bright stars and rivets. In my opinion, model must looks like real airplane, but not like a toy I work with real aviation and now try to learn how draw realistic texture. So, faded or worm stars and numbers is my try to do not "toys" texture, this is not mistakes of printing or creating PDF. YG think another and, apparently, likes clear and bright colors - but i don't care about this, anybody can take my models and doing with they anything he want.

Sorry for my english ))

Hi Maxim, Your words are very well understood. And I agree with you. It should look used and faded to mimic reality.
I made an An-2 a couple of years ago and I used some brown and red pencils to make the plane rusty as hell. Only then I found it looked authentic. (-;

Thank you for your explanation. Now I understand.

I do like the faded and worn look as well. Please continue with that in mind and include differences in metal color for the aircraft panels.

Best wishes.

Isaac
