Isolda Sailing Ship Model reposted

The Isolda is a museum ship at the SJÖFARTSMUSEET in Goteborg.
Years ago Gunnar Sillen designed a wonderful paper model of the Isolda, that looks great when completed, yet is not as intimidating as are a lot of sailing ship models.
Over the years the Isolda model had appeared and disappeared from the internet. I located it using the Wayback machine. The model has 7 PDFs, 1,2,3,4,5,6front and 6back. Use the link below to find them, look for PDF files that contain isolda.

https://web.archive.org/web/*/http:/...borg.se/prod/*

Gunnar Sillen's site is worth visiting, all his Santa and the history of technology models from past Christmases are available, and a lot more.

Have fun, Swedish sites are best enjoyed with a nice plate of Lutefisk and a shot of Absolut.

Thanks, John. Took a while to search through the list of files, but it looks like a very nice ship.

Updated URL for Isolda
S/V Isolda, Göteborg
http://www.isolda.info/kajutahistorier.asp
Look for PDFs named "Isoldabladet" about 1/2way down the page.
If you have problems finding the download page, go to the start page
http://www.isolda.info/default.asp
then click on the tab that says
Kajutahistorier & övriga berättelser.

BTW, Isolda was designed by Gunnar Sillén who owns the "Bildrum" site which has more wonderful models to download or buy.

Pretty little ship. I'll have to try to build and hunt down some info about it.

Thanks for sharing this!
