Specimen Box of Planes

In case you haven't seen this.... 2d depictions of famous planes, pinned & boxed like an insect collection. I think the 1:200 models that people are building would look great mounted like this...keeps the dust out!

I've been wondering how to display my 1:300 aircraft sets. Can't hang 'em from the ceiling, 'cos it full of dangling feathered birds, but there's still some wall space. ...

Cool idea!

That's a very neat idea. Makes me want to build a bunch of little planes just so I can make a box and display them like that.

I lent some entomological boxes of my wife some time ago, but i have not the courage to snipe the models, so i can not really hang on the wall.
