Alice Papermodel
Have any of you dealt with Alice Papermodel? I don't mind paying for a model, but I have noticed that a lot of the items they have for sale can be download for free elsewhere, at least with the Star Wars ships. Unfortunately, the ones I want from there, I cannot find templates for anywhere. I am particularly interested in the Super Star Destroyer and other obscure models. Also, would any of you know where I could find the templates to download?
Thanks, Jim |

A fine example of mainland China commercial ethics.

Many of the generous designers here have had their designs stolen by these creeps in an effort to make a buck at their expense.
They are at the evolutionary level of pond scum, without any of the more redeeming qualities...

Don't buy it for what ever the reasons. Alice (He/she) is a pirate... support the designer... if its free it would help to donate the original designer a bit... or buy it directly from the designer web... asked in the forum.
Best regards. Loui.

Hello fellow Craftsmen,
I joined PMs to ask about Alice Paper Models. I went on their website recently, prepared to purchase a few of the 1/24 diorama backgrounds, and couldn't add the items to the shopping cart. I searched the web to see if they had gone out of business, and that's when I found this comment line. Seems to be a consensus here that most if not all of Alice's offerings are from other sources. If anyone has a tip to share, on where I could get them, please let me know. There are three in particular; the abandoned steel mill or factory, the old San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge at night, the warehouse/loading docks at night, and the vintage daytime cityscape. Thanks for any help you can provide. Ptb |
