Agree Herky.
Still apparently no transcript. Probably the best approach now is to forget it for a month or so.......until the jury is out. And still very few facts that can be used!

You know its sad that the first officer decided to end his life this way.
This crash has really saddened me. The news said the pilot has severe depression and I completely understand how he feels. For some like myself with depression it hurts like hell and I know how we must have felt. Although it is very sad he ended his life this way I wish people could just look past this terrible deeds and remember this actual life. I am sure he had a lot of friends, I am sure he had a good life. He just had something on his mind that was overpowering. I have depression as well. I've given lots of thought after this crash whether or not I want to be a pilot or after all. I've mostly given up on it and now I just don't know what I want to be in life. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

Don't worry Matt, there are a ton of jobs out there, and you're still young enough for a career change. You can always return to piloting if you want, or you can do something else with airplanes too, like design them or build them or be a flight attendant or even be the head of a company like Boeing, and there are some people who can make a living off of papermodels...

an it stated that the co-pilot left a note to his girl friend saying "they will remember my name" she said he also had night mares and would scream "we are going down!"
when you think about it, she is the one that should have contacted his doctor and Germanwings and the parent company Luffthansa the guy had everything going for him , copilot flying to vacation spots in Europe the good pay and advancement was sure to follow. no need for the jury to be out we have all the facts sad to say the man snapped, he cracked at 38.000ft and took an A-320 full of passengers with him |
