Someone out there is amazed what you can do with paper!
Something we all know all along finally seemed to have seeped into the "real world". Someone over at Sploid discovered UHU02's work. They got one of the masters.
But It's kind of enjoying to read their marvelling over that its just paper. Japanese craftsman creates perfect sci-fi ship replicas using just paper |

UHU02 is a great designer and modeler. I wish that he would have included building instructions with his Argonaut model.

I kind of like us not mainstream, kind of like a paper "cult" with only a few of our masters manifesting for brief intervals. I like the mystere and it definitely prevents too many people from coming in.

I agree - more interested scale modellers should know about the marvellous possibilities of paper modeling.
But perhaps many doesn't care to take the time needed to build a really intricate and complicated model, in these stressful times, when smartphones occupy most young minds, at least my two daughter's. It's nice to see/hear that the many hours that many paper model designers spend get some kind of regognition. And this is PRAISE! Rightly so, because UHU02's designs are true masterpieces, every one of them! The latest Orion III PAN AM space clipper from the movie "2001 - A Space Odyssey" is a beauty. Bengt in Stockholm |
