Downloaded with no problems. Thanks, Leif. Printed it out at 1:33, and, since I can, printed it out at 1:16 (206.25%, or times 2.0625). At that scale, cockpit will take some added detailing.

This model designed by my Father Timofei(Russian) and painted by Vasiliy. More Timofei's models on papermodelers:
Uh-1H (post #24 and #25)
Su-7 (He has almost all of "Fitter" family Su-7, Su-7B, Su-7BM, Su-7BMK, Su-17), one of them on this site:
Indian Su-7BMK "Moujik"

It's wrong. This model is original design. You can see author's bookplate in lower right part of each page. First computer enginered model of Timofei. It was developed an about 1997, and then redesigned some times. A've got all files from very first to last.
It was painted by Vasilij consultated by me this year.
Here you can find photos of first white test, painted with acrylic inks, 1999 year.

Leif
The cover of this model is designed in original soviet blueprint-style. In left upper corner whote something like:
"assert: Lavochkin (chief designer of La-series)" And in right upper corner wrote:
Copy #1(2015)(it means, that this document is secret, and every copy has it's one number). The russian for "copy" is "ekzemplyar" (or short ekz. "ЭКЗ" which you recognised as "3K3".)
This doesn't mean it's brand or trademark, ist's just style thing.

Help with Russian-English translation

I'm working a bit on this kit to make it available in 1/16 scale while still keeping to Letter/A4 paper size. It is quite a puzzle. Meanwhile I'd need some help with proper translation of some Russian remarks. First these two screenshots from the part sheets:

In a previous post I stated, quite arrogantly, that a Google-translation from the Russian build thread would suffice to overcome some problems with the kit that seemingly remained in the available version. Here's the Russian text I need help with:

Quote:
The Google translation goes like this:

Quote:
Then the hood. The first "petal" item basically converged normal, but following it was a great length. It shortens by about 3-5mm. The joint between the thin strip closes. It seems to be designed correctly and assembly, but for some the feeling that something is missing, something smooth. Here in this place plays an important role the thickness of the paper. I have a little bit exaggerated, it is probably why it did not work as it would like.

Next docked "head" to the fuselage. There is so to speak a cutout castle. On the fuselage of the cut-out is not. Do not be afraid, you can trim.
I can't make heads or tails from that translation, so please help me here if you can! If you wan't to see the accompanying photos and read the context, here's the link to post #34 in the Russian build thread.

Grateful for help here! - Leif

One thing I found disturbing about the Russian build thread were adds to meet naughty Russian girls when I was trying to view photos.

Wink

I'm pretty sure you are not required to meet the naughty Russian girls.

As part of the reworking of this free model into 1/16 scale, I was planning to incorporate a pdf-file of all the build photos from the Russian site. Without the ubiquitous porn ads.

Any takers on the translation bit? - L.
