So I got an answer from the Russian site, including the link to download the model. I quote the full message below, in the shape I got it. I believe all conditions to have been fulfilled this way.

Since models posted at the Depositfile site have a tendency to go away once interest wanes, I do suggest anyone interested download it now, while the going is good. It is a model worth having around and studying.

I have made an entry of the original download site (Depositfiles) in the downloads section/aircraft/military. Due to size restrictions (20 MB for pdf) on the Papermodelers site it was impossible to store the original 29 MB file here.

The entry should be accessible as soon as it has passed moderation. Added 27 May 2015, at 15:00 hrs GMT.

While I don't normally build Russian aircraft, this one looks like one that I would want to try. Hopefully the designer will agree to letting us have it here.

I've edited out the file I was unclear about. I intended it to be a thumb, but I don't seem to agree with the (for me) new download system. Not important, though.

More importantly, Vasaq wants to point out a fault in the original design, which remains uncorrected in his repaint. It has to do with a cutout in the engine cowl which either should or shouldn't be made. It is hard for me to determine, so I enclose the (more than usually) cryptic computer translation of the relevant post in his build thread:

Then the hood [most likely engine cowling, judging from the photos; my remark]. The first "petal" item basically converged normal, but following it was a great length. Shorten about 3-5mm. The junction between the thin strip closes. It seems to be designed correctly and assembly, but for some the feeling that something was missing, something smooth. Here in this place plays an important role the thickness of the paper. I have a little bit overpriced, it's probably why it did not work because I wanted to. Next docked "head" to the fuselage. There is so to speak a cutout castle. On the fuselage there is no such cut-out. Not scary can be cut. [Don't be afraid of cutting it out...?; my remark]

Now that this fact has been pointed out, I'm sure any competent builder will be able to come to terms with what seems to be a small problem. Vasaq obviously did.
