Churches and Chapels

There's a great Czech website with a lot of small models of various churches and chapels in the Czech Republic. A new one gets added from time to time. The instructions are in Czech but the models aren't difficult to build without them. The models are at Papírové modelářství. The scales vary and they look suitable, with the right scale adjustment, for model railroad layouts.

Mark - these are indeed very nice.

I have built quite a few of these and enjoyed each one.

The earlier ones need a bit of work with a photoeditor - they have faint lines running across the artwork.

And despite their small size, they can be quite complex to build!

I'll see if I can find some photos......

Thanks for the link. The "Whiskey barrel " shaped submarine looks interesting.

Yes, I like the look of that submarine. It's from a 1958 film by Czech animator/director Karel Zeman, 'Vynález zkázy', known as 'The Fabulous World of Jules Verne' in the West. Worth looking at on Youtube, it's rather unusual, a mix of animation and actors. Even the full-size sets are made up to look like animation. Julian
