Simple Ferry Paper Model

"Kanmon KaikoFerry Papercraft
The Kanmon Straits (関門海峡 Kanmon Kaikyō) or the Straits of Shimonoseki is the stretch of water separating two of Japan's four main islands. The Kanmon Straits can be crossed in a number of ways, the oldest of which are the ferries. You can download a simple papercraft of the Kanmon Kaikyo Ferry"

https://web.archive.org/web/20100210...kkferry.co.jp/

An easy but pretty model of a tourist ferry in Japan.
The model button is on the right, the second link below the red flashing "New".
The original URL is dead, but the information lives on at the internet archive.

When I downloaded these, they only had the 'All Models' version. I'm glad they added the individual downloads

These look like nice models and a worthwhile build for someone interested in classic pre container era shipping.

(The 2008 to 2010 page saves have the models)

If any of you find sites with good paper models please take the time to submit the URL of the main page and the URL of the models themselves to the "Wayback Machine". Otherwise great models like these and like Zio Prudenzio's for example could be lost forever when the original web site is no longer maintained.
Some of these ships have appeared on a certain russian downloadsite with building pics. posting a link to that site is out of the question i guess, because a lot of "pirate" models on that site...

It is a pity that sometimes the only sites that preserve models that would otherwise be lost are the pirate sites. At least in this case the ship models were posted on a individual's web site, so that they could be preserved by the Internet Archive.
These are actually very nice water line models, and a couple of them are on my never to be completed , every growing to build list. The fact they have only part numbers, no instructions, makes them a bit of a puzzle.
The Internet Archive is a non-profit foundation and one day it might shut down it its funding runs out, which means the legitimate host of other wise lost forever models will be gone.
Models that are posted on Download sites by their designers are also ephemeral, since those sites are often targeted by governmental agencies and shut down since they often host materials that violate copyright laws.

I explored the site in the original post and found these links:
