My apologies, I misposted the link to SD critters on one of the above posts and I could not find the site again. However I found a Korean site with most of the paper models that are on the Japanese page;
https://paperworld.tistory.com/526 And more searching turned up the original Japanese web site http://www1.rcn.ne.jp/~pi-ne/doubutu.html http://www1.rcn.ne.jp/~pi-ne/mokuji.html It also has a few paper models for sale http://www1.rcn.ne.jp/~pi-ne/echizenwashi.htm Last edited by John Wagenseil; 03-28-2020 at 03:41 PM. |

Easy Pink Telephone and other archived models from Japan
http://web.archive.org/web/20060504040918/http://www.ufm.jp/study/play/paper_craft/denwa.html
It is worth exploring Papermau Blogspot as it contains a huge collection of current and past links to paper models from Japan (and a few other models from places that are not Japan). After visiting Papermau I was able to track down this archived link to a pretty pink old style telephone. http://web.archive.org/web/20060504040918/http://www.ufm.jp/study/play/paper_craft/denwa.html If you search the page above, you will find links to other archived paper models. I cannot thank Mauther enough for ressurecting his blog which provides paper models, entertainment, and a thoughtful look at life. Here is another archived model, a rural bathhouse. Unfortunately, the comapnion model with the interior of the building was not archived, so we will have to be satisfied with the basic exterior. https://web.archive.org/web/20071021074757/www.222.co.jp/papercraft/model001.html Last edited by John Wagenseil; 04-04-2020 at 11:10 AM. |
