How to fold a traditional Korean dress for a paper doll:
???? ???? ????/????-?????
This one is harder, and only shows instructions for body, you will have to make your own head. Use paper with different colors on front and back for the blouse:
???? ???? ????/????-??

The page numbers at the bottom link to other paper crafts.

Hiya John,

Any ideas how to get a hold of the plans for the large scale tiger and leopard shown at the bottom of this page?

The age old question of obtaining Kei Craft premium models outside of Japan. Right, Johnny?

If someone has figured it out, let us know

Hi Karl, Vermin
A lot of Japanese designers/vendors of Paper Kraft want to be paid via a Japanese bank and will not deliver outside of Japan. I have never tried to get a Kei Craft model, but I would not be surprised if he follows this policy. There is also a problem that machine translation of English to Japanese and back again is not very good. The upside for the Japanese designers is that while their pool of potential customers is somewhat limited by this policy, they also do not have a big internet piracy problem.
Really the only reliable way that I can think of to get paper models from Japan would be to have a gift exchange with a bilingual Japanese friend. Years ago, American Beef Jerkey or smoked Alaskan Salmon could get you a lot of favors, I no longer know what is considered a good gift, and of course there is the matter of finding someone to exchange gifts with, or do a foreign currency transaction for you.

Type 90JSDF Tank

Type 90 Tank
The prolific Japanese paper model designer at Lazylife has released another model. This time he has left the WW2 era behind and has created a model of a modern AFV, the Type 90 tank.

箱之工房 - 戦車
http://lazylife.at-ninja.jp/papercraft_military_vehicle.html

I have re-posted
Type 90 Tank
to add it to this thread's list of Japanese and Japan related paper models.
I used to be worried that we would run out of paper model downloads from Japan and its neighbors, but now I am worried that they might sink under the weight of all the accumulated paper crafts.
These are only the free downloads we have been able to find, there must be many undiscovered ones still out there. I am sure there are many Korean paper models posted on the web as well, but Korean web sites are even harder to get around in than Japanese web pages.
Then there are all the for-pay models which for yen only purchase, and piles of origami, kirigami and their Korean and Chinese equivalents which must be piling up on shelves, tables and in hidden corners.

I've tried contacting Kei by email, pm on his blogs, and even posting on his Facebook timeline, but he's never replied. I guess the language barrier is firmly shut here.

The nearest I've ever got to that tiger is this .pdf of a 2009 catalogue page.

http://keicraft.air-nifty.com/blog/f...u_2_2009_s.pdf

but I've not found out how to order anything from it.
