If you PM or e-mail me, I can send it to you. It is almost 800mb so the size is beyond what I can attach here.

Best Regards,
Ron,

Did you ever finish your J2? I was digging thru my old projects and found all the notes we sent back and forth.

I did finish a design and beta build of the exterior. Did all the interior research and then dropped the ball.

I would love to see this one come back to life, (With your help). In fact I would love to just know that you are alive and kicking.

Carl

First season of "Lost in Space" was good science fiction for the time. It was when it went "Hi Camp" that it literally got "Lost in Space". I liked Judy, but long term would have been with Penny, though cramped up in that little saucer the Mom would have probably started looking good (June Lockhart was in fact a beautiful woman). So being honest, the ship was well stocked and could have provided all that was needed. It could have been called "Romp in Space".

The same could be said of Space 1999. First season great, second season, (Thanks goodness for the models).

Guy Williams, who played the father, was an accomplished swordsman who used his skill in an earlier Disney series, Adventures of Zorro. I remember that one as a kid, too. I used to have a little Zorro suit with a chalk-tipped rapier with which I would inscribe the infamous "Z" on all the walls in the neighborhood. Hey...I was a tagger before there was even a name for it!

At any rate, there was one episode of LIS where Williams did a sword fight with some bad guy.

I agree about remakes. I watched the Lost In Space movie for all of 40 seconds before switching off in disgust.
By the way, this discussion about the girls in LIS reminds me of a bit from Red Dwarf, where Lister and Cat are arguing about the relative merits of Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble. Eventually the conversation goes:
CAT: Well, I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most
desirable woman that ever lived.
LISTER: That's good. I thought I was goin' strange.
CAT: She's incredible!
LISTER: What d'ya think of Betty?
CAT: Betty Rubble? (Pause) Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be
thinking of Wilma.
LISTER: This is crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma
Flintstone?
CAT: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
LISTER: She'll never leave Fred, and we know it.

Ha ha!

Lala, thanks for starting this thread. I'm not sure I'd build the model, but I used to enjoy the TV show very much when I was a teenager. Like the other guys, I was had crushes on the daughters. Just on a whim, I poked "watch Lost in Space episodes online" in Google and found that you can watch all of the full versions, thanks to Hulu! They really bring back great memories. For you fans, I did a screen grab.

I'm sure that Zathros will remember how great June still looked when she appeared in a single B5 episode along with Bill Mummy. Sort of an LIS reunion.

Hi Carl,
yep, I'm still alive and kicking. J2 project has been on hold for a bit- life has decided to get in the way, but nothing bad. Just different. E-mail me and I'd love to keep in touch and hopefully get this model finished.

Best Regards,
