How many Good upload/download sites are there now??
Megaupload having been taken by the FBI sure did a Number on easy
download links!!!
I USE to have an 'UpLoadIt' account, but.....
Are they still arround??

also, what ever happened to Dot Com's Mega replacement??

Send6 is a possible, but is LIMITING to say the least!!!
2 days from Upload.

There Is MaxArt's favorite Yandisc

Maybe Dropbox??

I think that is a thread we need now
Good Safe FREE Upload/Download sites!!!

Gargle-Doc's CAN be acceptible, but ONLY if the link
is an OPEN one, and Not one demanding a 'G' account!!!!!
Give me back my Original Pre-G Youtube, I I MIGHT THINK
about a new G account
Till then, only if they PAY me!!
and NOT a couple dollars!!!!

For all of the members who are having a hard time navigating 4shared, with all the ads in place, I will post screen shots of the process, and tell you where to click.

It is not that difficult, and there is definitely no need to be melodramatic about it.

Give me some time this evening, and I will have a step through tutorial

Rick

My problem turned out to be with the rar extraction software on my computer. After I got that sorted out, they opened just fine.

As promised, I have created a step through tutorial for those who want to download files from 4shared.

I created the file in word, but should be able to be opened by your favorite word processing software.

If you have any questions, just ask

Slight Problem here
WHAT opens this file??
Wordpad gives me a MESS
and Open Office pops up the error
"This is Not a WinWord6 File"

Can some one convert this to an rtf or odt file
for wordpad or Open Office??

The original document was created in Word 2007, it was saved as a Word97-2003 format

Open office can not open a Word Document?

resaving the file as a RTF file balloon it to 42 MB

Hi ya Rick, I'm interested in two of the cars but I still have a major problems with 4shared. When I tried using it before it really did a job on my PC to a point where I don't want to go anywhere near it. It loaded all kinds of crap on my PC and I had a hell of time removing them. I can wait on the cars till something else is done so I can leave 4shared in the dust where it belongs. Thank you very much all the same, nope. wc

Just for the record...it opens fine in Libre Office. Not sure what version (v5 I think) but i'm sure it's the latest update.

Looks good to me Rick, but personally I've not had problems with 4shared. Perhaps it's because I'm a registered subscriber?

I didn't have any problem opening it in Open Office. I think its the latest version.

Will give it a try when something comes up in 4shared that I'm interested in.
