Sportscars, partly from yesterday
Here.
I am a fan of classic cars. There are some modern cars for the racetrack, but what really got me interested were a Ford GT 40, a 1972 Chevy Camaro and a Jensen Interceptor. I haven´t seen a model of the Jensen anywhere before and I think it is an outstanding sportscar of unique, classic lines. The Ford GT 40 can be built with the head lights faired over or open.- Probably for the 24 hours of Le Mans where, from 1966 on, this car won 4 times in a row, thus breaking european supremacy and especially Ferrari´s. The models are designed with Pepakura which means you always know which part goes where, but lots of narrow strips and glue tabs. Scale ist 1:18, so it is an easy thing to scale the kit down to the standard scale of 1:24. Proportions are superbly well met, a thing not always seen with Pepakura. Besides the Pepakura files, each download also contains the parts as png graphics files which means you could recolour them, e.g. by using GIMP. Fairness demands to ask the designer before doing this. For me, these models are a clear "must build". Cheers, Martin

Cool find! I haven't been able to open the files with either Pep Viewer or Pep designer. Models look great though.

Zot ... After unzipping the files with 7zip they opened OK for me using Pep viewer and designer v3.
Just as an experiment I opened them successfully using Pep viewer and designer v4 as well. These are the first .pdo files that I've come across that will open in both v3 and v4, so I guess someone's been tinkering with v4 to make it work with the older files, but I don't think I'll be uninstalling v3 just yet.

Now this is peculiar. I went to the site grace Papercraft, then I clicked on the blue small print caption beneath the pictures and the site 4shared opened. I am very restrictive when it comes to allowing java script, so I only temporarily allow sites that seem to be trustworthy to me to use it. Also, I got a pop-up blocker installed and I use Firefox.
I got an account on 4shared. Logged in, clicked on the blue tab "free download" (tranlation from german "kostenloser download), waited for 1 minute, download started automatically. No sexualized ads, nothing. And no, I am not on fartsbook or similar. Can you try this and tell me if it worked this time? Cheers, Martin

I quit trying. Nothing on that web site is safe for my PC to download. Not sure what's going on but I'll have to go on. Thank you all the same for sharing. The models look great. The Lamborghini Egoista and the [1969] Ford GT40 Race Car really look good too. wc
