The Spring Chicken

I've been dropping hints for one of these for years, so now I guess my duff fingers are just gonna get forced to build it ...

Heroes of Papers

Among others, there's 'Donkey' from Shrek too.

PS: You need Pep v4 to open these.

Were you able to get it to load? I've tried twice and I get a 'Failed to Load' message when I try to open

It won't open in Pep v3. You need to open it with Pep v4.
I've tried my download and it opens OK in v4.

Yep, opens OK with Pep4.

That black area around the crest will have to be trimmed off otherwise the RR will look like a punk rock mutant biker.

Odd, I've got Pep4, but it still reverts to trying to open with Pep3. I'll have to look at it after work

You might have pdo files associated with Pep3 so when you click on one to open it the default program will be Pep3.

Try right clicking on the file name and choose to open with Pep4. If Pep4 is not listed use the 'Choose default program...'. There is a check box that will allow you to use Pep4 as the default program for pdo files. Uncheck it if you still want to open some of the earlier files using Pep3.

I'm not sure why but I have noticed that v4 Designer and Reader have installed in a different place in Windows to v3, and so far I haven't been able to get v4 to appear on the 'open with' menu. If I could do this I would probably lose auto access to v3, so I have a folder on my desktop containing shortcuts to Pep Designer v3 and v4, as well as pep reader v3 & v4.

In order to open the v4 files I first open v4, then open the file from within it. ie: click on 'open', search for the file, and select it. It's a bit of messing about I know, but until Pepakura update v4 to read v3 files I'm gonna have to live with it as I require access to both.

Yep, and the tail will need trimming too. This is quite a common occurrence with .pdo animal designs. Some of the WoW figures (The Griffin in particular) look quite horrendous in the 3D view as it shows all the parts untrimmed.

Having the same problems with Pep since I went to W10. So doing the same work around. Which is what annoys me so much at W10. There's so many little things that don't completely work right now in it, but it keeps trying to give me all of this apps and crap that I have no interest in when I just want my computer to work right and quickly. Not a bunch of damn social media junk.

I don't think it's a Win10 problem Wayne. This hiccup has been around ever since pep v4 came out. Long before I upped to 10, and I dunno about Doug, but I'm pretty sure VK hasn't gone 10 yet.

Finding someone who speaks Japanese in order to query this is the problem. Unless you address these people in their own language they will just ignore you.
