1903 Harley-Davidson factory
In case any of you are watching the History Channel's 3 part Harley-Davidson miniseries that started last night, Papermau had designed a very nice and simple model of their first 1906 "factory" rendered in 3D from an original photograph of the building. The TV show version is at least twice the size of the actual building, which was really just a garden shed.

Nice.
I saw a documentary about Harley-Davidson a few years ago that stated the first factory they built was in the railroad right of way so they got a bunch of people to help them pick it up and move it so it would be out of the right of way.
