Gee Beegone !

After much searching I had found a free download of the GeeBee R3 in 1/33. Excited ? I was ecstatic ! So exited that when I downloaded the three files I hit the delete button instead of the save to file button. My right index finger and I are no longer talking. The worst is I can't find it anywhere on my deleted files or on the net ?
When I use a computer use borders on abuse.
Does anyone out there know where this model can be found?
Help !
please !
Liz

The only free, thanks to Mike's generosity, GeeBee I know of.

Although, his is listed as an R1

Fiddlersgreen has two GeeBee's I think. I built both so if I can you should have no problem. One is red and white and the other is black and yellow. I hope this helps. wc

Your browser, Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc. may have saved a copy in its download folder. Click on the download tab in your browser and it may show you the downloaded files.

And be nice to your right index finger. You may need it for something down the road.

Best of luck.
Phil

Ta !

Thanks all, but this was definitely a gee bee r3. Unfortunately, due to memory issues, none, I have no recollection of where I found it or who published it, all I can say is that I think, (HA !) that it was a free model to publicise the designers work. From what I remember of the drawings before I destroyed them they were superb.
Am I imagining this ?
Am I imagining myself ?
The Gee Bee R3 was not real. Am I ?
More brains Igor !

It's the first time I hear of an R3 in paper. Didn't know it existed!

Have you tried a file recovery software to rescue your file?

Are you sure it was a paper(card) model Liz? There's quite a few references to R3 models (mainly RC and Control line) but I found nothing but R1 in paper designs.

Feed 'Gee Bee R3 model' into Google image search and wade through the pictures. You might latch onto something familiar from the one you've seen.

Failing that, Phil's suggestion of looking in your browser's download file is a good idea. Few people realize just how much their browser stashes about them. I emptied mine a few days back ... freed up 380 Mb of hard disc.
