Puerto Papel ("Paper Port")
Puerto Papel (Paper port) is a stop motion series produced in South America. And currently being broadcast in several countries.
Aimed at children, it has a nice quality. It is all animated in paper with stop motion, plus effects added in post-production. The storyline is about a girl named Matilda who visits her 120 year old grandpa and his talking fish in coastal Port Paper. Soon it is discovered that the grandpa's longevity as well as the fish's ability to speak, come from a magic coconut. That coconut gives an unusual power to Matilda everyday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KONwIXNo2A0 Along with the animated series, the creators have made available a series of paper model kits and activities for children. Currently the kits of all the characters can be downloaded from the Argentinean site: Puerto Papel | Pakapaka Instructions are in Spanish, but as you will see they are really simple and intuitive since they are oriented to children. Kind regards.
