Not that I knew. I had to search a bit. Found the names here: Hitler in Berlijn | Woest & Vredig
Ribbentrop...is he the one who failed to kill Hitler?

Nope...just looked him up.
LOL
Just another one of the henchmen.

More Nazi paper soldiers

I found some more Nazi paper soldiers, even has the main man, Adolf, in the bunch. These were printed in 1938 in Germany. I cleaned them up some.
Before someone has a fit I am not a Nazi, nor do I support their beliefs, I am however a WWII buff and have been for as long as I can remember.

Thanks for the figures. I, too, am a WWII buff (I was 9 years old when it ended). I had an uncle flying bomber missions over Germany and another uncle in the Pacific island invasions. I was lucky; they both came back. Neither ever talked much about the war and I was still a teenager when they died; still too young to realize what I could have learned from them.

In fact these are nazis but they are not soldiers. Their "brownshirt" uniforms identify them as members of the Sturmabteilung see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmabteilung
Relatively few German soldiers were in fact members of the national socialist party (nsp)
I never know whether to be iritated or amused when people use the adjective "nazi", presumably for dramatic effect, thereby claiming that aircraft, tanks, warships, whatevers ... of the time were card carrying members of the nsp. They were simply "German".

Anyone ever met a Republican or Democrat B17?

If you want to be irritated by my use of the term"nazi" please feel free to do so, it really does not matter to me. This is, I think, a paper model forum and as such is not and does not have to be 100% historically correct in every detail. If my post offends you simply pass it by however I do agree that not all Germans were Nazis but most Nazis were Germans.

Just a couple of comments about the print in this post : http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/572964-post14.html (post 14).

1) The figure standing to Hitler's right is an idealized portrait of Ernst Rohm. In reality Rohm was fatter, older and more dissipated looking. This means it was printed prior to 1934, when Hitler ordered Rohm's death, and lethally purged the SA ranks.
2) In the lower right corner of the print is the publisher's mark: J.F.S. i. E., for J. F. Schreiber of Esslingen on Neckar. It also says "Printed in Germany" in English, suggesting that the print was intended for export.
Therefore, Schreiber-Verlag published Nazi propaganda that was intended for international distribution.
Schreiber-Verlag was founded by Jakob Friedrich Ferdinand Schreiber in 1831. The Schreiber family sold its interest in Schreiber-Verlag in 1988, the publishing house is now part of Thienemann-Esslinger Verlags.

paper soldier project

This is a project I am working on with the cut out Nazis. I made the back ground and the podium and still have to make the floor and bases for the figures they are just propped up for now. I will post a couple more photos when it is finished.

The men in brown shirts and black trousers are SS NCOs and enlisted, the brown shirts and trousers are NCOs and enlisted for the SA. At the time the SS was subservient to the SA. In the top row are, from left to right, SS Leader (Julius Schreck or Heinrich Himmler), SA Leader Ernst Rohm, Hitler and 2 SS Officers.
