Ancient Roman Villa Paper Model
Here is the Ancient Roman Villa, occupying six sheets of paper, including the optional base. I think it will be useful for School Works, Dioramas, RPG and Wargames. The model is available for download in three formats: Letter, A3 and A4, so you can choose the size that is best for your interests. Have fun! Mauther,
Thank you for a very interesting model. I have an idea for a diorama, but I have to complete two others first. One of which includes Papermau's Greek-Roman Ruins and Desecrated Tomb (so I know this one will be fun to build) Do you know if there are any Roman chariots with horses available somewhere. John |

John, I took an old model posted on Agence Eureka and added some detail. PM me if you want to check it out. The original file is 'le char roman.bmp' if you want to see if you can find the original
On letter, this is great for my available space but a bit small for 28mm RPGs. Great textures, Mauther. Thanks

Mauther,
Thank you one more time. By paper layering, I can really make them look detailed. I had not thought about a closed vehicle. That adds a whole new dimension. John |

Thank you for another great model.
I am not sure that it looks like a Roman Villa, but I think it would make a great Victorian era work house, or county prison. There are 19th c. prisons and insane asylums scattered around rural OH, WV, and Pa, and a shut down TB hospital in California that have exactly this grim, no nonsense appearance, right down to the walled off yards, with watch towers at the corners. I can imagine Oliver Twist ( ... please, sir, could I have some more porridge ... ) in a place like this. |
