Thanks for the heads up. Just noticed that there is a translate button on the right side of the page. New to me although it may have been there for a long time already. Very helpful.

new release: an 1/72 scale Red Army

It is a 1 - 72 scale IS - 3 paper craft. In the photograph there are six spare tanks, but since the turret does not turn, it is reduced to four.

IS-3 is a heavy tank developed by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II. The car body and turret were thoroughly inclined armor, and its flatness was a sharp point at that time.
He had heavy armor and main gun of large caliber, but the weight of the car was only 45 t and the weight was comparable to that of the Pantra tank, and the car body was comparatively compact. As a result, the interior volume was sacrificed, which led to a decrease in the speed of fire of the main gun.

read more about the various Soviet tank designs with designation IS here

click here to go to the IS-3 download page, main page can be found here I noticed the name of the website has changed from Lazy-Life to Boxstudio

Centurion model is actually A41 Prototype.
A precursor to the Centurion.

Bet there aren't too many models of those...paper or plastic?!

A little stylized, but nicely detailed for a 1/72 scale model!
Even the Hull is angled properly.
Lots of very small parts!!

Dave, you are right - I haven't seen another model of this version of the Centurion anywhere.

But probably a resin one at an exorbitant price somewhere!
