British ship models

Found this page on the web.
four models for free download.These are simple models in black and white but i suspect they be easily be coloured by someone who knows how.
All four ships were built at either tyneside or barrow.They are
Hms Albion at 1;700
Rfa fort george at 1;850
Rfa wave knight at 1;850
Rrs james clarke ross at 1;600

That's a great find.

It is relatively easy to colour them, and I may have a go in a couple of months once I have finished with other projects.

The ships could be recolored using a simple image program like Paint or Irfan View.

The quality of a jpg degrades every time that it is saved so it is better to use a different format like png.

i know nothing about digital recoloring, but I am an Ace in using crayons or coloring pencils to color items, and that is what I did when I made one of the polar research vessels

It's actually really easy, but only using a proper editor (though you can use Paint).

There free editiors.

I will do a tutorial on repainting - as soon as I have a computer at home again - mine has bust and I will not be able to replace it for a couple of months.

There is a coloured version of the JC Ross in existence, but I don't have the link for it alas.
