Spanish architectural models of buildings in Albacete
Albacete is a province in Spain.
Its administrative council has one section in their webpage where you can download several architectural models of the important buildings of each city. There are mainly churches, city halls, theaters and plazas. There's even a huge complex kit mapping the province. Follow this link: Diputacion de Albacete You will have to click on each city's name to see what models are available for them. As could be supposed, most of the kits are found under the capital city's section Albacete-Albacete). The other cities have at least one or two kits available. Files are provided in PDF format. Scale is not constant. Some kits are at 1:200, others at 1:400, 1:340, at least one at 1:175, and some others have no indication of scale. Looks like they are scaled to fill all available space on the page. Most of the kits have a short text with historical presentation of the building (text in Spanish). The names of the designers show prominently in each page of the kits. Quality is good, although they all look like scans of printed give-away kits. But good scans. Colors are very nice, and lineart is crisp.

Nice buildings.
I never made it to that particular province. The closest was a couple of provinces that border it: Murcia(Cartagena) and Alicante(Alicante). Also visited a few other places on the Med coast in Spain. Would not mind going back to Spain one day.

Thanks for the link. You just gave me the theme for next years elementary school paper modeling class. I ran a class this year using the UK. It went over so well, that my daughter (the third grade teacher) wants me to hold the class every year from now on. Some of these kids are amazing. A couple of the boys and one girl assembled the model so well, I would not have been able to identify my effort, if they were displayed side by side!

I am really happy this has been useful for many people.
Always glad to share!  Edit: After searching for a bit more for information, I confirmed that this kits were originally printed in cardstock and distributed as free give-aways in various fairs in Albacete and in the course of several years (ago) to promote tourism in the various districts of the province. So it was difficult to physically collect them all at once. But looks like someone in the local administration was smart enough to scan them and collect them all in one single place and offer them as official free downloads.
