Seeking a lost model

Several years ago, I recall seeing a site where someone was posting simple paper models of FASA ships, mostly alien. I recall there being a Klingon D-7, an Orion Lightning and Wanderer, and a few Starfleet ships. I haven't seen the web site since 2010 and have recently been searching for it with no success.

One very impressive ship that I recall being made into a paper model was the Klingon D-10 from the FASA game. It looked like this:

D-10

Does anyone know what happened to the site or who the author was?

I have only the jpg, not the original PDFs and then only of a few of the ships that he created. He was intending to make a full paper model of the D-10 but I don't know what happened.

The full D-10 looks like this:

Thanks!

But I don't know if that's the same you mentioned and already have.
An there was no D10 there..

Google 'Pirates of the Federation', the website's still around:
Pirates of the Federation Home

The pair of dice on the nacelles are the giveaway, these were 2.5D models meant to slot together like the 'Pirates of the Spanish Main' game ships with rules adapted for Star Trek. All of the ones you mentioned are there, and some he never got around to making.

Thanks for trying to help but the original design came from the FASA game in the 80s. This designer had made partial models of those designs but I had not seen his site since 2010.

Anyone else know where to find him?

Thanks again,

You may be right, that this is where they started. I couldn't find this when I looked. Where I found it, the designer was working on making them more 3D for building. I suppose that site might have taken them from this one?

I don't know, but its a good start! Thanks!

I'll poke around to see if someone was making a paper model from these simple profiles.

Thanks again for helping me make some progress!!!
