For some reason I felt compelled to work out what each one is. This is what I think they translate to, using Firefox Translate add-on and a bit of use of Japanese Wikipedia. I didn't do the radios etc at the end. If you click on the bit at the bottom it takes you to another page with some nice renderings of various Japanese warfare.

I had an interest in learning spoken Japanese when I was younger, which didn't progress very far, but I possessed a copy of Kenneth Henshall's 'Guide to Remembering Japanese Characters', which was a lovely book and left me with a hankering after learning more. Who knows, maybe in the future. Along with a hundred other projects!
