TOS Romulan BOP.
I found this TOS Romulan BOP while searching for something else. I don't remember seeing this version before. If this has already been posted please ignore this thread. Here are pictures from the pdf. The model can be found here
http://www.freewebs.com/starpapermodel/romulanbop.htm The first link works and takes you to the pdf.

Yes this model is extensive and near perfect! I have built it and was try satisfied, the only suggestion I have is to use very thick paper so it doesn't billow.

Wouldn't happen to know what scale it is?

I built it years ago, but I guesstimate around 1/2 of 1/350. Comparing it to the polar lights big ol' 1701.

Ability to have landing gear down is cool. Thanks for the link to kit.
It may never get built but I can show the page to people and say, look at this cool thing this modeler made!

This artist also made models of the Aurora, which was equally detailed, and two small early Fed cruiser kits and a detailed Delta Flier.
Are you going to build it?

I measure the Main Hull plate to be about 7 1/8" across at it's widest point, or about 180mm. compared to the 48.4m dimension given above, that makes this about 1:269 scale. However, these pages are 8.3" X 11.7" so I printed it at 90% to fit my 8.5" X 11" cardstock That measures closer to 1:290 scale. If the site above is to be believed and I'm doing my calculations correctly. But I failed High School math, so . . . |
