Hi Guys! So I'm newish to the large scale paper modelling!
And I must say that I'm loving the detail I've seen so far.

Just have a few questions about the paper.
Is the 1.3m scale meant for A3 or A4 printing?

Also what are the gsm recommendations for the paper?

is 80gsm suitable for the head? or should i go with something like 160?
Should the torso be thicker than the head?

I want to get started with this asap but just need some guidance :P

Thanks Jules for an amazing model!

I'm using A4 card and he's big at that (1.3M). I've been looking for a A3 printer (need job first), if I got hold of one I would rebuild him using A3, just for fun.

Not sure about the other guys, but I used 80gsm for the head and 200gsm for the body. I used normal card, i.e. not glossy. Looking at some of the other guys builds, I would go for glossy if I built him again.

the total number of pages maybe discouraging others from starting/continuing optimus prime cause this thread is eerily silent if i may say so...

but this model will be one of the most awaited completed build out there in my opinion...

good luck to all!

i'll be waiting for the finished products to crop up sometime soon.

cheers to jules for this great model, i may start building this but i'll start with the feet instead since almost all started with the head :D

FYI the total pages are : 253 for pattern only :D
I hope the best for some one who want to built it. Just one suggestion, use a thicker paper for the leg parts (i.e 200 gsm or more).
