Alexander Bondar - Dennis Armoured Car

A much more obscure vehicle modelled this time - a Dennis Armoured Car.

The political and military situation in China after WW1 was extremely volatile and the British concessions in Shanghai and Hong Kong had no regular troops stationed there to handle civil disturbances and protect the concessions from the multitude of military threats in China between the wars. The security of the concessions was devolved to volunteer forces who managed to contain the threats as best they could. The Dennis armoured car was built in Hong Kong using the chassis of a Dennis truck funded by private donations and was used for policing and security until the Japanese invasion in 1941.
